Solar for All is happy to announce that Whole Sun Designs, one of the contractors with the Bloomington Solarize Initiative, has agreed to make participation in our program available to their solarize customers!

Bloomington’s Solarize Initiative was just about ready to launch when SFA was  “born”  in 2016, so the timing didn’t work for full inclusion in the solarize program.  However, Whole Sun Designs has agreed to offer customers the option of deferring part of their group discount to assist low-income households in going solar — and has generously offered to match customers’ deferments with an equal donation, up to 1% of their total solarize cost!

This means that qualified low-income households in Bloomington will be able to reap the same benefits of clean, home-generated power as everyone else.
